Why does the APX version have a vertical grip?

The APX kit ships with a fixed vertical grip as its standard setup.

Gen 4X or Gen 4 for the APX?

Both fit. The Gen 4X adds the extended top rail and side rails.

Do I need to modify my pistol?

No. The pistol drops into the kit and locks in place, with no tools and no permanent changes.

Stock or brace?

Check your local regulations before choosing a stock. In the US, a shoulder stock on a pistol may require NFA/SBR registration.
