Micro RONI vs FAB Defense KPOS AMP: Closed Chassis or Open Top?

Micro RONI vs FAB Defense KPOS AMP: Closed Chassis or Open Top?

Same goal, very different philosophy.

The CAA Micro RONI wraps your pistol in a complete chassis with its own top rail. The FAB Defense KPOS AMP keeps the top of your slide open, so your factory sights and slide-mounted red dot stay in play, and it fits different pistols by swapping a small rear adapter.

The Short Answer

  • Micro RONI: you want a full rail on top for a red dot and a magnifier, side rails, and the RONI accessory family. Glock, CZ and Beretta APX.
  • KPOS AMP: you own more than one handgun, or you want to keep aiming through your slide-mounted dot with no re-zeroing.
