Your pistol's factory recoil spring is a compromise between reliable cycling and comfortable shooting. DPM Systems replaces it with a captured multi-spring rod: several springs that share the job in stages.
How It Works
- Springs inside the rod control the slide through its whole travel, so it never slams into the frame.
- External tuning springs come in the box, in different strengths, so you can match the system to your ammo: lighter for soft loads, heavier for hot ones.
- It's a drop-in part. It replaces the factory rod during a normal field strip. No gunsmith, no changes to the pistol.
